Synopsis on Goodreads

Strang isn’t the small, quaint town it appears to be. It’s haunted every night by a creature the townsfolk refer to as Halloween. Once the sun sets each day, Halloween emerges to collect its treats: a small, live offering from each household. The residents comply because no one wants to be the target of Halloween’s tricks. But the nightmare of residing in Strang is nothing compared to the yearly ritual Halloween demands of the citizens on All Hallows’ Eve.

~

Another amazing horror short. I love horrors based around Halloween but it was refreshing to read one where not only is it based around Halloween but the terrifying creature is also called Halloween…makes me spooky bones shake 🎃 I don’t want to spoil anything in this so if you’re also into Halloween horror I 100% recommend this, free on kindle unlimited if you have it and another good recommendation as KU has some absolute bangers!

I Apologise for the very short review, it’s hard to review short stories without giving away the entire plot but I do recommend for horror fans to read this, may not be to everyone’s taste but as a Halloween lover, I absolutely adore this.
